The terms on which ZIX publishes. Short, because the platform does not ask much of you — no account, no data, no payment.

What ZIX is

ZIX aggregates published economic, trade and investment data about Zimbabwe and comments on it. It is a publication, not a financial service.
Nothing here is investment advice, a recommendation, an offer, or a solicitation to buy or sell anything. ZIX is not a licensed financial adviser and does not account for any reader's circumstances, mandate or risk tolerance.
Readers making capital decisions should take their own professional advice and check the primary sources, which ZIX names on every figure precisely so they can be checked.

Every figure carries its source, its vintage and, where it matters, the measure it uses. That is the standard ZIX holds itself to and the basis on which it asks to be trusted.
It is not a warranty. Upstream sources revise their own data, publish on irregular schedules, and sometimes disagree with each other by wide margins — which is why the platform shows conflicting readings side by side rather than picking one.
ZIX gives no warranty that any figure is complete, current or fit for a particular purpose, and accepts no liability for decisions taken in reliance on it. Where an error is ZIX's own, it is corrected in public and logged.

Underlying data belongs to whoever published it — the World Bank, the IMF, the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe and others — and their terms govern its reuse, not these. ZIX's contribution is the compilation, the sourcing notes and the commentary.
Photographs are used under the licence named on each image and remain the property of the photographer.
Automated scraping that degrades the service for other readers is not permitted. If you want the data in bulk, ask.

ZIX is provided as-is. Pages depend on third-party APIs which can be slow, wrong or unavailable, and the site may be taken down for maintenance without notice.
Where a source cannot be reached, the platform is built to show the gap rather than substitute a stale or invented figure.

These terms may change. Material changes will be dated on this page rather than applied quietly.
ZIX is operated from Zimbabwe and these terms are governed by Zimbabwean law.
